What the Artemis II astronauts did over the last 10 days was a testament to their bravery. And the fact that they traveled farther from Earth than anyone ever has, re-entered our atmosphere at more than 24,000 mph, and splashed down safely was a testament to human ingenuity. Thanks to everyone at @NASA for making this mission possible, and for taking us along for the ride.

And splashdown!
America is back in the business of sending astronauts to the Moon and bringing them home safely.
Reid, Victor, Christina, and Jeremy did an outstanding job. These talented astronauts inspired the world and represented their space agencies and nations as humanity’s ambassadors to the stars.
This was a test mission, the first crewed flight of SLS and Orion, pushing farther into the unforgiving environment of space than ever before, and it carried real risk. They accepted that risk for all we stood to learn and for the exciting missions that follow, as we return to the lunar surface, build a Moon base, and prepare for what comes next.
And they were not alone. The entire NASA workforce, our commercial and international partners, and the hopes and dreams of people all over the world were with them. The astronauts know it, and you should too. This mission would not have been possible without you.
Congratulations. Artemis II, mission accomplished.

@dccommonsense @Pjlecy New Zealand. We won't use them honest.

@Battledadd @dccommonsense Yes they're religious but not part of death cult that makes it part of their code to eliminate the Jewish people. If you can't tell the difference, you might be in a eco chamber

@Pjlecy @dccommonsense Mike Johnson, Mike Huckabee, Markwayne Mullen... The list goes on.

Any country that lead by a group who reasonably to be suspected to use nuclear weapons more than just deterrence should be disarmed. If that means by force over and over again that's fine.

1. This "do you want Iran to have nukes?!" argument wonderfully obscures the much thornier larger question: This is an 80 year old weapons technology that (ostensibly) no one who doesn't already have it is allowed to. How long is that a tenable situation? Permanent inferiority?

@DanielJones9417 @dccommonsense Threatening isn't using, like you said they have are a rational actor based on their circumstances.
Iran however is a terror religious group, which is not unreasonable to think that the genocide of the Jewish people might be worth the sacrifice of their own.

@Pjlecy @dccommonsense Russia threatened to nuke Paris and London, like within the last 365 days. They have a doctrine on the use of tactical battlefield nukes. In all likelihood is China is the only reason they haven't used one in the war in Ukraine.
