Three months of watching 110 points erased off $TSLA. It’s wild to see it play out time and time again. No one can predict the random rips up, but she always gives it back. This time wasn’t any different, and here we are as “long-term Tesla shareholders” holding the bag. Maybe if we can only vote on Elon’s pay package again so he can pump the stock leading up to it and lock in another few billion in compensation.

I went to the exact same location of the Cybertruck accident shown in the Fox News video. This is the US-69/59 Eastex Freeway northbound HOV lane at the Y-split near the Eastex Park & Ride exit (approaching from downtown Houston toward Humble). In the Fox News video, the vehicle failed to follow the right curve, going straight into the barrier. Well, I tested it twice today with Tesla FSD engaged the entire time with zero human intervention. And unless you think I am a hologram speaking to you from another dimension now, it worked out really well. Here is the video of me taking the exact same curve twice, with Tesla FSD v14.2.2.5.

A distressing story. I've posted several times that modes of tesla FSD are too aggressive and drive erratically. I do think the software works great "most" of the time. But I do have to disengage often for safety reasons. Time for tesla to be accountable for the system. $tsla

Gimme Gimme... I added >$500k to $GTLB today as it was curling but before it ripped into close. I continue to believe this gets taken out. Was trading at about $3.75b with $1.3b in cash. The rumor was that DataDog was going to take them out, but now I don't know who does. It would be a drop in the bucket for Anthropic or OpenAI. I sold a few $24c for 3/20 to help the market makers out and let them breathe a little bit. Also, sold them to test, would they grab the liquidity? They sure did! Seems like they wanted it to me. I assess this by looking at what they do after I sell a few calls, and in this case, they raised their bid.

That’s really nice, but I ended up landing on the Kia EV6 again because it comes with a 7 year / 150,000 km warranty. It gives me more peace of mind, it tends to depreciate more slowly, and its roughly 10% cheaper than a Model Y. I do think the Model Y is a slightly better car in some areas, but the warranty is a big deal for me. Also, the Model Y is the best selling car in Norway once again, which says a lot about how strong the product is. Now that could change again if insurance gave me fsd benefits in the future 😊
