Quick trip over to Tashkent. A flight of GPS spoofing and jamming as we crossed between Russia and Iran over Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan. No idea how I’m getting back home, is Qatar or Emirates operating? Sounds like it might be a good time to fly @TurkishAirlines .

Maps from Flightradar 24 show that air travel between Europe and Asia is increasingly becoming a challenge. There are only two corridors left which allow uninterrupted travel. Extending the current war to Turkey, Azerbaijan and Oman - three countries which already have to deal with Iranian drones and missiles - will further complicate matters.

@vaqarkhan @CaptBob_Nomadic The aircraft is owned by Oakstar Cargo Opportunities Holdings. So would imagine it is to be leased from World Star Aviation. But there is a possibility that as a 29 year old asset, it could be sold to TCS/SereneAir.

@SteveNomadic Aero Capital Solutions A320 LY-BVE (msn 2233). The aircraft was previously YL-LCT on lease to SmartLynx and was in Nigeria on sub-lease to Air Peace. The aircraft had an engine failure and a rejected take off at ABV on 10th October 2025 and was withdrawn from service.

@Gargamle2 @Nomadic_OMD The other one it could be is ex-TC-JGA msn 29785, but not sure of the livery of that one, where as 30174 is in white with a red stripe across the gear covers.
