@CoachLukeWHS @michaelsobrien In football go back to 6 classes for public schools and have a small and large private school division.

@michaelsobrien My idea as an IHSA Baseball Coach. Have one side of the bracket for each class be private. Have one side be public. Winner of each side meets in the State Championship. You also get a trophy if you win your side of the bracket. Classes can be re-done to distribute teams equally.

I'm just getting ahead of the private vs. public school discourse about to take over for the next ten days. The idea of splitting the IHSA so that rich private schools and rich public schools can BOTH win state titles strikes a public school kid from Joliet as laughable.
