They take a failure of mixed politics, regulatory capture, or state intervention and rebrand it as “free markets.” Then they offer more centralized control as the cure for problems created by centralized control. If communism were practical or moral, they’d defend its principles openly: abolition of private property, central planning, enforced equality. They don’t, instead they change the subject.
