This is a stark reminder of the direct impact of our plastic consumption - but also the impact we can make by taking action, especially collective action. #PlasticFreeJuly is a global movement where millions of people reduce plastic waste to help wildlife and the environment.

Do any of these plastics look familiar to you? While these were collected from the river Thames in 2019, many were made and disposed of between 1980-1998 - designed to be used once, then in our waters forever.
