What's the purpose of the National Guard again? I watched like 30 ppl fare evade and they didn't even bat an eye. The teenagers are literally running circles around them, and they have adopted the @DCPoliceDept culture of standing around on their phones doing absolutely nothing.

@maustermuhle @trayonwhite The rich are the ones who should be doing community service. If the punishment is only a fine, it’s only a crime to the poor. The rich will keep breaking the laws. Make them do community service.

Interesting: A new bill from @trayonwhite would allow low-income D.C. residents to perform community service as a means to pay off traffic camera fines. Each hour of service would be equivalent to the minimum wage ($17.95) off of what they owe in fines.

@311DCgov it seems all the flex posts on E st. NW between 4th st. NW and 5th st. NW have been removed. Was that intentional? If not, can a ticket be put in for them to be replaced?
