Additionally both parties could still be charged in a mutual combat scenario however when mutual combat becomes Assault or battery, 2/3

Once he tapped and said he's done, at that point he withdrew his consent therefore its no longer mutual combat. Self defense requires acting in the heat of the moment, the trained fighter 1/2
