Development Update: Ancient Bloodworm We have been working on a new type of foe/mob, the Ancient Bloodworms. The Ancient Bloodworms have awoken in the post-apocalyptic landscapes of $NOMADS. It is said that the Ancient Bloodworms were created from the blood of fallen warriors and are imbued with ancient magic. They slumbered in the depths of the desert, and now they are appearing at the surface of the dessert landscape of $NOMADS to feed on the blood of fallen warriors. Development Update: Runes Tree & Shop Irrespective of market conditions, we firmly believe that $NOMADS will be amongst the top #gamefi projects one day. In this video we are showcasing our new Runes-Tree system and Runes shop, both critical features of the game that we have been working on for the past week. In #PlayNOMADS, when you loot dead mobs or players, you may pick up Gold. Gold can be used for multiple reasons, one of them is purchasing Runes, that boost different attributes for your character, from the respective NPC sellers. Runes work along leveling up and have their own levels, so you have to level up and maintain your progression in the challenging world of #NOMADS before using more powerful Runes, as shown in the video. As it can be seen, character growth in $NOMADS has multiple angles, and numerous strategies will apply, considering that survivability is key and dying will deprive a Nomad of their progress. Development Update: Spirit Attributes We have been working on our leveling and skills systems, and we think #PlayNOMADS will have some pretty cool aspects when it comes to character growth. Similar to Souls games, in $NOMADS, by killing mobs (PvE) or real players (PvP) you will collect their spirits. Spirits can then be used for empowering your character by accessing the attributes skill pane. If you die, you lose 50% of the spirits invested and therefore weaken. The only way to retain your spirits will be by making sacrifices to a Sand Lord (more on this later 🤔)! #gamefi #web3 #cryptogames

Development Update: Vaulting System While we are working on expanding the maps, and the characters overall, we have been also working on making the $NOMADS vaulting system smoother and more dynamic. Vaulting mechanics are important to get done properly as they allow players to interact with the environment more fluidly, create an immense environment, reduce frustration, improve the overall flow of gameplay and encourage an open-world survival #MMORPG. #PlayNOMADS aims to provide a fun open world survival experience, and as such, perfecting the vaulting mechanisms to ensure there is appropriate collision detection with animation blending being smooth is vital. Survivability in $NOMADS is a key element, whether it comes to #PvE or #PvP. We are currently testing enemy spawn zones and will be working on our enemy spawn system more intensely further down the line. Choosing the right enemy locations is important for creating a challenging #MMORPG, as well as ensuring smooth gameplay. Clans will be able to attempt to siege and occupy designated fortress locations, allowing them to deploy standard NPCs such as traders and blacksmiths, and to grow in a safer environment. To do so, you will have to team up and clear those fortresses of the mobs that dominate them. However, if the fortress is owned by another clan, you can siege them on designated days and times. #GameFi #Web3Game
