🚨 BREAKING: “Death to America” Comes to @virginia_tech
At Virginia Tech tonight, Mohamed Abdou opened his “Death to the Akademy” speech by declaring, “We are in a war, a racial religious war since 1492.”
He told students America is “the larger monster,” praised “General Sinwar,” called October 7 the “blessed day of Al-Aqsa Flood,” and said jihad can mean defending life “using the sword.”
Then he praised students as “a branch of the resistance” and said they were recognized as “a branch of the mujahideen.”
And when he explained “Death to America,” he was explicit.
“When we say Death to America, we mean, and loud and clear, a total end to U.S. empire. The destruction of this crusading settler colony, their entire project.”
Virginia Tech spent the last few days insisting this event was not happening. It happened. And this is what was said.
Stick around, because there is a lot more to unpack. We are not even halfway through his speech yet.

@MOSSADil Nothing new under the sun. Good Jews vs Bad Jews, destroying ourselves from within, being hated from outside. Ben Ami doesn’t get that he is hated as much as an Orthodox tzitzit wearing Zionist Jew. The Dem Soc party hates him, Mamdani hates him, all Muslims hate him, I hate him.

“I DIDN’T LEAVE THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY. THE PARTY LEFT ME.” - Ronald Reagan
J Street’s rise isn’t about shifting toward the center—it’s about how far Democratic politics has moved on Israel.
Once sidelined, J Street now sits at the heart of Democratic power. Founded as a liberal alternative to AIPAC, it initially drew just 87 House signatures—while AIPAC-backed efforts pulled 300+.
Today, that dynamic has flipped.
Led by Jeremy Ben-Ami, the group now endorses “the overwhelming majority of elected Democrats,” including leadership figures, making it the dominant “pro-Israel” lane inside the party.
This comes as Democratic voters grow increasingly critical of Israel—creating political space for J Street to thrive as a middle ground between traditional support and the rising anti-Israel left.
Even critics acknowledge the shift. Former ambassador Michael Oren said:
“I say to them jokingly… ‘You used to be on the radical left, and now you’re in the mainstream.’”
But that “mainstream” is uniquely American.
J Street openly states its mission is not to reflect Israeli views, but US political realities—Ben-Ami emphasizing:
“Our role is not to represent the Israeli Jewish population… Our conversation day in and day out is in the United States.”
The result: a growing disconnect.
J Street backs policies—like conditioning aid or opposing Israeli military actions—that often contradict the views of most Israelis, yet align with where Democratic politics is heading.
Meanwhile, pressure inside the party continues to intensify, with lawmakers pushing to restrict arms sales and activist groups moving even further left—leaving J Street as a political bridge for Democrats unwilling to fully abandon Israel, but no longer aligned with traditional pro-Israel policy.
In conclusion, J Street isn’t redefining the center—American politics is.

@moshespern @NYCMayor We know! We know! We know! We know who Mamdani is and what he wants. NYC has a serious enemy in power. It’s up to you to make him impotent.
English

@NYCMayor Why do you have to make this political by having a city funded commercial feature a person wearing Kefiyah??? This is beyond offensive to the Jewish community. You keep proving who you really are each day. Actions speak louder than words!!!

New York, let's get organized.
In a city of over 8 million, just 400 people showed up to speak at the last Rent Guidelines Board hearing — where decisions about rents are made.
We can do better.
If we want a city that works for tenants and landlords alike, we need New Yorkers to show up and make their voices heard.
The next hearings are this June. Visit ORGANIZE.NYC.GOV to get involved.

🧐 PERSPECTIVE:
Experts argue Israel should move from temporary seizure to full confiscation of Gaza flotilla vessels.
Current policy—detain and release within hours—fails to deter repeat provocations. Auctioning seized ships could help fund rehabilitation for terror victims near Gaza.

Where's Colby Hall? The former chief editor who manufactured quotes for Mediaite? But the mentality has not changed at Dan Abrams's site. They love promoting bigots and antisemites, Democrats and Islamists, and Trump-haters.
That said, they've become stenographers for Tucker Carlson and others on the Woke Reich for precisely the reason I've explained before -- to undermine MAGA and the GOP by promoting kooks and bigots like Carlson, especially when they are daily attacking conservatives who call them out, and it draws rubberneckers, which lines their pockets. And the more sensationalistic the headlines, the better. Unfortunately, that is not only their business model but their way of helping the Democrats and the radical left.
Mediaite treats Carlson, for example, as a legitimate voice of MAGA, conservatives, and the GOP despite the fact that he platforms Holocaust deniers, Jew-haters, and Christian-haters, and all kinds of vile and insane conspiracies, and has been trashing the Republican Party and President Trump for a long time -- context that is nearly always missing from the clips they post. Carlson has more in common with Hasan Piker in this regard than any real and serious MAGA spokesmen. Mediaite actually seeks to legitimize Carlson and the Woke Right, no matter how off the rails they go or how dark their outbursts. Poll after poll shows that MAGA and Republicans reject them by huge numbers. This is why the reputation of Mediaite continues to sink, yet it sticks with the business model because it apparently works for them, just as it works for the Woke Reich. The relationship between the leftwing media and aggregators and the Woke Reich serves both of their agendas and interests.

@MorEdge_Insight Tell Pres Trump.
It’s time for a preemptive strike. The scenario you describe would be a world disaster, which is exactly what they want.

Iran may be days from a desperate scorched-earth move that could blind US carriers and spike global oil prices through the roof. As someone closely following this crisis, here’s my analysis 🧵 of why this scenario is far more plausible than most experts admit, and what it would actually mean.
I have been watching the Iran situation closely, and I personally believe the regime is preparing something desperate and extreme. Their oil storage at Kharg Island is filling up fast because of the American blockade. They probably have only two or three weeks left before they are forced to shut in wells, which would cause permanent damage to their oil fields. So what if they simply open the valves and dump millions of barrels straight into the Strait of Hormuz, then set the entire slick on fire?
It sounds extreme, but it fits their mindset perfectly, and there is a precedent for similar tactics used before on a smaller scale. Back in the 1991 Gulf War, Iraq released between four and eleven million barrels of oil into the Persian Gulf from their terminals and tankers. It was a deliberate act of environmental warfare designed to block any American amphibious landing. They also set hundreds of Kuwaiti oil wells on fire, and those fires burned for ten months, sending thick black smoke across the entire region.
It was pure scorched-earth strategy. Iran has studied that war in detail, and its leaders constantly talk about martyrdom and resistance. I think they see this kind of move as a logical option when they feel cornered. They are not going to let the world win if they cannot win themselves. For many of the hardliners, ideology runs much deeper than money or even survival.
At the same time, this move would punish the global economy for not stopping the United States. The Strait of Hormuz already carries about twenty percent of the world’s seaborne oil. The current blockade has already pushed prices higher, but a burning mega-spill would shut down shipping for weeks. Tankers could not safely navigate through fire and zero visibility. Insurance companies would refuse coverage, and oil markets would go wild. Gas prices everywhere would jump again. Supply chains for plastics, chemicals, food, and transport would suffer. Developing countries that depend on affordable energy would be hit hardest. Iran knows this very well, and I suspect they see it as justified payback. You sanction us, you blockade us, you strike us, then everyone pays the price together.
