I agree. I don’t see us giving up pick 1 or any of our core guys (Sarr or Kyshawn) I love Tre but I think with the current state of the roster he makes sense for both sides to be in that deal. So I think what makes the most sense is AD who’s rerouted to a 3rd team with MIL getting Tre, Whitmore, and maybe a 1st or 2 from us

If the Wizards were to pursue Giannis, which has only been speculation to this point, the No. 1 overall pick would likely be off-limits in any potential framework.
A trade package from Washington would most likely include Anthony Davis, young prospects, and future draft picks.

I’ll believe AJ Dybantsa isn’t the number one overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft when I see it. If it doesn’t play out that way, I think it would be a draft night stunner like in 2022 with Paolo Banchero going 1 over Chet/Jabari despite what all signs pointed to.
