What makes Obsession even more tragic is the fact that Nikki kept leaving Bear signs because she truly believed he would save her.
She was trapped inside a version of herself that wasn’t real, yet fragments of the real Nikki kept breaking through, desperately trying to reach him.
But instead of seeing those warnings for what they were, Bear kept choosing the fantasy over the woman he claimed to love.
That’s why the scariest part of #Obsession was not the wish. It was realizing Nikki was still in there, waiting for someone to care enough to save her.

One thing about DOOM: The Dark Ages that's subtle until you think about it... The music is a big downgrade without Mick Gordon.
When we think about transmedia it's usually TV / movies ... for DOOM it was music.
Gordon's OSTs have millions of plays on streaming services.

Doom Dark Ages pissed me off. Every time I wanted to do a fucking finisher move, you know, the core Doom experience, it would just harmlessly kick the enemy away or punch them down. What a disappointment. The neutering of this franchise killed it. Some purple haired monster thought we needed more stories and that somehow by removing things like gore in a Doom game, people who used to play Stardew Valley would become interested in this game.
