Microsoft’s Xbox hardware revenue dropped 33% this year. Xbox boss Asha Sharma said the company knows it has work to do. She explained: “While we have made progress expanding the business and our margins, player and revenue growth has not yet met our ambition. We know we have work to do to earn every player today and into the future.” Xbox bosses say they are recommitting to their core fans with lower Game Pass prices and plans for next-generation hardware. If they continue with these changes, I think they could come back to top of the market.

Ubisoft is reportedly developing a remake of the original Assassin’s Creed game from 2007. According to creator xj0nathan, the project would follow the studio’s ongoing Black Flag remake and focus on updating Altaïr’s story in the Holy Land with modern graphics and gameplay. Insider has backed the claims, adding that Ubisoft plans to revisit several early entries in the franchise this way. It seems that Ubisoft is trying to redeem all its recent flops

Ubisoft is expanding its Assassin’s Creed remake plans beyond the recently announced Black Flag Resynced According to leaker at least one additional title from the series is already in active development as a full remake, with more potentially following based on how well the first one sells. Black Flag Resynced, the modernized version of Assassin’s Creed IV, is scheduled to launch on July 9, 2026 focused on single-player storytelling, with the original DLC and multiplayer modes left out at launch. If they sell good with Black Flag could open the door to remakes of other fan-favorite games from the franchise’s early days, personally would like the remake of Assassins Creed 2 by far the best story in the series

Intel has reportedly canceled its entire lineup of discrete gaming graphics cards based on the Xe3P “Celestial” architecture. There will be no consumer gaming graphics cards for this generation. Intel’s next possible gaming GPU project, known as Xe4 “Druid,” is not expected until 2027 at the earliest, and its future is still unclear. The company is now focusing its graphics efforts on AI and data center products instead of the competitive consumer desktop gaming market.
