The last photo is a Thottea sp. 🌸. Also another amazing plant with really purple flowers, its family is famous for attracting fly pollinators because of its corpse like appearance🥩

Inspiring talk by Prof Leo Tan who greatly contributed to the education, scientific and environmental scene. Left with great admiration for someone who stood firmly on science, and his progressive ideas & beliefs during a more authoritarian & rapidly developing Singapore.
