In order for the space to move forward, projects must be held accountable for their plans with funds acquired from mint.
Many projects gained over 300k USD, yet have probably spent sub 10k, if that, on something for the community to enjoy.
What’s your plans with that other funding? To line your pockets?
I want you to ask yourself this question, has the project you’ve been apart of delivered anything to you? Did they achieve on their promises? Are they active? If not, ask them why? Get your answers because as someone who supported a project, you have the right to know what is going on with the funds and the projects plans.
Is the space suffering right now? Of course, but could that be aided by projects actually utilising their funds they got to “build”? Of course.
Innovation attracts attention.
But what about us? You guys tried to mint- failed and done nothing.
Somewhat true. But we haven’t done nothing. We had 2 working products before we even began minting, to demonstrate our desire to build and grow on #AVAX. Unfortunately, our mint didn’t go to plan and we NEEDED funding to continue our plans.
Right now we ask for 0.95 AVAX per MooPas, which for what we want to deliver is a fair price.
Having an abundance of funding doesn’t = success. More times than not only 10% is getting deployed into the project while the rest is going into the teams pocket.
What you need is a solid team with a vision, good work ethic, and desire to push on in the space. The community will build itself around you.
With all that said, we will hold ourselves accountable right here -
Since our mint we have tried, and struggled, and yes things have gone more quiet than initially. And tbh, that isn’t good enough.
This is not because we have lost desire or want, simply our backend dev is on holiday and we as a team have to come together to re-evaluate things moving forward.
We have established what we believe is a solid plan and can benefit MooPals community dramatically. In order for this to be a success we must position ourselves in the best place possible, and this takes time.
To be blunt - if we were going to “rug” believe me we’d have gone now. Already had the “what’s the point of you doing stuff” “nobody cares” “moos are dead”
We are still here because:
1- We care about our community, we set a vision, and we want to accomplish that.
2- We are builders, not grifters.
3- We have respected names in our team and a duty to uphold to.
4- We believe in the products we are delivering to AVAX and how it can benefit the entire eco system.
Moral of the story-
Challenge projects you are supporting, because are they supporting you?
