1/ BTS Jung Kook's latest live session is a masterclass in being unfiltered yet incredibly balanced. He addressed several heavy topics with a level of honesty we rarely see in the K-pop industry. 🧵

🚨 do you understand what scientists just did to deafness.. researchers injected a modified harmless virus directly into the cochlea the spiral cavity in your inner ear.. carrying a working copy of a gene called OTOF.. the gene that transmits sound signals from your ear to your brain.. without it, your ear hears everything.. your brain receives nothing.. 10 completely deaf patients.. single injection.. within weeks all 10 could hear.. 10 out of 10.. here's what nobody wants to say.. cochlear implants cost between $30,000 and $100,000 per patient.. hearing aids sell for up to $7,000.. the global hearing industry is worth over $9 billion a year.. every year.. recurring.. because deafness has never been cured.. just managed.. one injection ends all of that.. and in 2018 goldman sachs analysts literally wrote this in a report about gene therapy.. "curing patients is not a sustainable business model" that's a goldman sachs equity research note.. sent to investors.. warning them that companies developing one-time cures were a risky bet because cured patients stop buying products.. the science to fix single broken genes has existed in research labs for years.. the same platform used here already cured a form of blindness in 2017.. cured spinal muscular atrophy in babies in 2019.. there are over 10,000 known single-gene disorders.. millions of people labelled "incurable".. the platform exists.. the proof is 10 out of 10.. the question was never whether they could fix it.. it's whether fixing it was good for business.

This one’s for the BTS ARMY! We’re jamming to “Body to Body,” because it has the right beat for Hands-Only CPR! It’s even funnier because when you read past the purple prose you can see the verbs and metaphors are juuust slightly off. Pigtails dont stretch your “head” they stretch your scalp. Socks don’t “climb” legs they encase them or slip down. If you describe the air as “pastel” that’s

🐱 We could say that the world is getting a little colder, right? Well, I mean... I'm not really into social media or things like that. I'm not very familiar with them but think they've really transformed the world. I think it's important to know where to cut down on looking at those things. Of course, we've always been making music in a competitive environment and though we will have to keep doing it, Ithink in today's world it's important to keep practicing finding one's own definition of contentment and happiness.

My cancellable opinion on relationships is that people who are aware they are emotionally unavailable should not seek a relationship that they cannot provide a basic foundation for, knowing the other person will be neglected. It's unfair and takes advantage of people for their capacity, who then struggle to leave once attachment is built, and endure heartbreak either way. It's PERFECTLY OKAY to stay single until you address your emotional or attachment issues - I haven't had a boyfriend in 6 years, and much of that time was spent addressing my trauma so I wouldn't cause problems for someone else, and I survived! You can too - seek connection from friends and family in the meantime, but do not assign some poor person the task of ensuring emotional neglect until you decide to act ethically!

Lyfted over to a woman’s place to catch a movie for our third date. Before we start she tells me she’s emotionally unavailable, so I shrug and grab my stuff to leave. “You’re just gonna leave?” Are people okay? Yes, I’m just gonna leave. I’m trying to date, and you aren’t.

Just moments ago, I ended a call that shattered me. My friend, trapped deep in the eastern area, spoke with a broken voice: "The tanks are right in front of us… we see them moving closer, and death comes before them." Martyrs have already fallen beside them no one can reach them, no one dares to move. He spoke as if he was saying goodbye… as if he had already lost hope… as if he knew no one was coming. Where is the ceasefire they talk about? What lie did the world create to ease its own conscience? The war hasn’t stopped it only changed shape, becoming more suffocating, under a global silence that’s just as criminal as the bombing itself. The whole world watches us die and chooses to look away. There is no justice left on this earth… only voices silenced, blood spilled, and hearts breaking every single day with no one hearing us.

URGENT ACTION NEEDED: Palestinian peace activist Ayman Ghraieb held by Israeli secret police On 17th November 2025, in al-Fasayil (Jordan Valley, West Bank), Palestinian peace activist Ayman Ghraieb was detained by the Israeli military at the request of illegal Israeli settlers present at the scene. He was detained for several hours, then arrested. A source in Israeli security claims that Ayman is held by the Shin Bet – Israeli internal security service (equivalent of American FBI). the Red Cross and Ayman's lawyers have been unable to reach him despite repeated requests for information from the Israeli police and military. Ayman is a nonviolent activist, documenting settler violence against Palestinian communities in the Jordan Valley. This arrest is not isolated — settlers have repeatedly targeted Ayman in the Jordan Valley, calling the army on him multiple times to obstruct his peaceful work. Ayman's abduction follows the assignment of the far-right major general David Zini as the head of the Shin Bet, implying increasing political repression by the security service. According to B’Tselem, there are 3,563 Palestinians held in administrative detention as of June 2025. In this context, securing Ayman’s release is vital. Human rights defenders like Ayman are at heightened risk of being drawn into a detention regime where legal safeguards are minimal and renewals can continue for months or years. Preventing him from being absorbed into this system is essential not only for his personal safety but for protecting the ability of Palestinian activists to continue documenting violations and supporting threatened communities. Urgent diplomatic international intervention is needed to demand Ayman's immediate release. For press inquiries: Andrey X, colleague and friend of Ayman +972 533-222-469

Ms. Rachel (Rachel Griffin Accurso), the extremely popular children’s educator, said she unsubscribed from the The New York Times, “because of its biased and dehumanizing coverage of Palestinians and Palestine, and its failure to uphold journalistic integrity.” Over 300 writers, scholars, public intellectuals have recently pledged not to contribute to the NYT’s Opinion section, citing an entrenched anti-Palestinian bias in the newspaper’s Gaza coverage.
