Layoffs are terrible. The (very insignificant) silver lining is we don't have to deal with a live-service Twisted Metal. Just give us a straight forward Twisted Metal! Or a remake of Black!

For everything great about FFVII Remake/Intermission/Rebrith (and it's GREAT), it will never compare to how radical FFVII was when it first released 27(!) years ago.

Sony's 2018 press event where they deep-dived on a few games (The Last of Us Part 2, Ghosts of Tsushima, Death Stranding, Spider-Man) was one of my favorite gaming events ever. Wish we had more presentations in that vain.

I have very little interest in King Kong in general, but it was a demo of that 2005 King Kong game in a Gamestop that sold Jamie and me on the Xbox 360. That game looked bonkers good at the time.
