A Roblox dev sold his game for $350,000 cash and a 40% cut of all future money. Then he hid it from his parents. Then he tried to BURN IT DOWN after it hit 1 MILLION players So the buyers sued him in Minnesota federal court. The dev sold Forsaken, a top Roblox horror game that later hit 1 million concurrent players, to two buyers in June 2025. He kept one Roblox payout account called the "Spectre Account" and the lawsuit says he "specifically structured everything so his parents wouldn't find out he had sold the game" even though he was 18. Then the game exploded. >The lawsuit says the original dev started telling people he "despises" the new owners and that they "lied for months" >He leaked the confidential deal terms on a burner X account called forsakenburner >He gave the deal details to his ex-girlfriend >He refused to hand over 2FA on the account >He asked Roblox to freeze the payout account so the new owners couldn't get paid The buyers are now asking the court to: >force him to retract the freeze request >pay $50,000 per leak in liquidated damages >permanently shut him up about the deal A lawyer who covers Roblox legal cases posted the full filing on X. @LucasIfy89652 Beeswarm, gunfight arena and restaurant tycoon 2(kinda) were actually fun. The only reason i had fun with toilet tower defense was cause i got legendaries on my first two units that i bought, so the game was pretty much a breeze.
