As one who ministers to people, after praying, I would have encouraged them to know that their faith has power through prayer, and that God is with them EVERYWHERE, ALL THE TIME! They need to know this. They need to know that they don't need her or anyone—their faith in God protects them always. I would have empowered them to know, that they have the power to rebuke evil all by themselves: "What a Friend we have in Jesus,   All our sins and griefs to bear! What a privilege to carry   Everything to God in prayer! O what peace we often forfeit,   O what needless pain we bear, All because we do not carry   Everything to God in prayer! You don't need to go to a building or need a pastor to pray for you. They have the same power as her. Just sharing my opinion and if your opinion, regarding how I would have approached this, is harsh—that's fine. I didn't like her approach. Not all people who worship have the same approach.
