@Morphan22V I had 2 come back 2 you. Is the anal sphincter a muscle? I'll wait, give u time 2 look it up. Now, if u take it up the sphincter by many men & objects... Will it stretch, GET LOOSE and n doing so, DOES IT EVER go back 2 normal? Also, DUMBASS! It isn't basic biology, it's ANATOMY.
@PointImon78634 Erm..
If you knew basic biology, you would know that the vagina stretches, but doesn’t stay stretched forever. It’s not a damn hair tie. It’s a fucking organ and muscle. The vagina does go back to normal after sex. Dumbass.
@Gurtkill@xx444jpg@iamelijaar Hmmm ... Sounds like? Did you hear me drop my hammer? Could've sworn text doesn't make a sound... The fuck are you hearing
@BREDSKINSx Only shit that would work. Keep their W add the spear with the feather. I see people posting just a bare spear... GET THAT SHIT OUTTA HERE, it's as tacky as the W by itself
Let's explore how it may be possible for the former Redskins to "honor their history" with a retro-inspired logo on the helmet this season, without dropping their hated 'W' logo or technically registering a "new" mark with the NFL.
As several people have pointed out, there have been no leaks of the team filing a new logo with the league. However, the process for bringing forth a throwback logo is different, since it does not technically have to be filed as new, as @ZachCohenFB and others point out.
But what if it's a spear/arrow without the feather? Any change should technically make it new, right? Yes, typically, but the NFL does allow for the flexibility of bringing forth a tweaked throwback logo without it being treated as brand new (idiocy of removing the feather aside).
Then there's public trademarks. Hiding a new logo from the USPTO is easy. There are several articles online outlining how that's done. The fact that a modified throwback logo is not publicly registered, if it hypothetically exists, is a non-issue. Besides, we've already seen variations of spears all over the team's social media.
But to evade leaks or any insiders seeing that the team registered a new logo with the league is hard, and is what would lend most to believe the 'W' logo is staying with no new secondary mark on the way. That's what has me believing that the team is taking the throwback logo route (with modifications that the league permitted), and did not have to file for anything technically "new."
Can't they just drop the dumb 'W'? Of course they can. But so far, as with everything else we want regarding the brand, they refuse to do it. As we all noticed when the locker room got its makeover, and as @Tiller56 recently reminded us, that logo is plastered all over said locker room. It's not going anywhere this year (and likely not in the next couple of years).
That said, it's often the case that logos get a soft shelving until they are gradually sunsetted. Alternatively, they are simply de-emphasized but remain one of the official marks.
It's possible the team begins de-emphasizing it and using it less often this season, and that within a few years you barely see it at all. Not that I'd count on that considering getting these owners to listen regarding the brand is like pulling teeth. But, our efforts do [very slowly] bare fruit.
There are several teams that don't use their primary logo on their helmet, including the Bears, Vikings, Rams, and Eagles. So, this would be far from unheard of.
Retaining the 'W' doesn't mean you have to use it on the helmet, or that you can't put a secondary mark on a different helmet. The team is technically allowed 3 shells, after all. However, the 'W' would likely still show up on most TV scoreboards, at least this coming season.
We know the team is either switching from a matte finish to a glossy helmet or adding a new glossy one (likely the former), and also unveiling an updated black alternate uniform, per Mr. Cohen. It's likely that glossy primary helmet will continue to feature the 'W'. But does this, along with a new black alt, qualify as a "surprise" or "trick" up their sleeves? It's Josh Harris, so over-promising and under-delivering is always a possibility regarding the brand. However, given everything we know and what has been shared, I think there's a real possibility we end up seeing more than just a glossy 'W' helmet and a black alt helmet.
What partially throws this off, though, is @DHarrison82's report that fan designs were used as a "communal focus group." Some such designs are atrocious, fans have consistently done an infinitely superior job to anything the Commies have trotted out. In fact, seeing fan branding ideas/designs (names, logos, etc.) are a major reason why the Commie brand continues to feel so hollow, corporate, and detached from the team's true identity and heritage, and have fans feeling major FOMO. But what is there to focus group if you're pulling forth a throwback logo? It's literally copy/paste.
All that said, here are 10 possibilities and the percentage likelihood I'd give each. The first 5 I'd all consider entirely possible, the bottom 5 not so much:
Glossy W primary, glossy burgundy spear alt, black spear alt - 30%
Glossy W primary, and an alt helmet that also pairs with both an alt uniform and the primary uniform (see comment below about pairing alt helmets with primary uniform) - 20%
Glossy W primary, black spear alt - 14%
Glossy W primary, black W alt - 12%
Matte W SB era stays, glossy burgundy spear alt, black spear alt - 10%
Glossy outlined W primary, black spear alt - 4%
Glossy outlined W primary, glossy burgundy spear alt, black alt of some sort - 4%
Matte W SB era stays, glossy Chief Two Guns alt, black spear alt - 2%
Glossy W primary, glossy Chief Two Guns alt, black spear alt - 2%
Glossy Chief Two Guns primary, glossy burgundy spear alt, black alt of some kind (W?) - 2%
As you see, my top two possibilities are that we get an alternate helmet that also pairs with the primary uniform in some capacity. That's also in 7 of the 10 possibilities I listed.
It's important to point out that teams can wear an alt helmet with their primary uniform as many times as they like.
So, they could have a W primary, but also a burgundy spear alt and wear that burgundy spear alt for most of the season. This would be part of a multi-year process of introducing heritage elements and at least partially de-emphasizing the 'W'.

Do you stand with him? 👇
@QuinnSJordan Correction.... For a "PIECE OF SHIT" hat like that... I'd pay 50-60-70 for the REDSKINS LOGO and original gear that I've loved for a lifetime. FUCK WOKE ASSHOLES
Is this too busy to put on a helmet?
IMO - yes, and it would still count as a logo change (which we didn’t file for - only Rams and Titans did).
Thoughts???
@PeriklesGREAT Could have fooled me... I've only seen the WHITE stripes separating the red ones. Or the WHITE stars inserting themselves onto a BLUE matter. You follow? Doubt it cuz y'all are thick as fuck.
