Why??? Because he is a rep of a competing brand? Or maybe it’s just a coincidence but either way shame shame on production.

@TylerP_Poker Going down the rabbit hole of bringing checks & keeping too much in the banks can be an issue (take it from a guy that the government took 98k and change out of his checking account). I only need to learn that lesson once!

@Poker906 I was able to just bring a cashiers check at beginning of summer then reloaded my TA account mostly with my cashes when I needed. But yeah traveling in groups def smart.

Feel very bad for this guy but I don’t understand why poker players still want to get cash when checks are an available option for any amount >10k. If you’re not staying in a hotel or gated complex, don’t carry large amounts of cash. All it will do is give you anxiety.

@Kevmath Honestly… the tournament pros stalling are the ones to blame. I call out the @WSOP on all their faults, but I’m gonna agree with the shot clock 100% - and if your a pro and don’t like it; too bad, you’ve taught the public how to stall in tournies for pay jumps. This is on pros.

With four players entering the Poker Hall of Fame this year (a record) based on their record, longevity and accomplishments: @themouthmatusow will likely be top of my list next year Mikey is a both a builder and a player. On the builder side, Mikey takes 40 pictures a day at @WSOP because everyone in poker—and tons outside poker—know who he is. On the player side: he has never had a losing year in poker (was close a few years back when he blew it all in one night), he has four @WSOP bracelets, 5 final tables at @WPT, $10M in cashes in poker tourneys (despite never playing high rollers), an @NBC Heads Up Championship (vs me!), and he crushed the high stakes side games from 1998 to 2015 #POSITIVITY

@TiffnyMichelle The reason why people sell action is because they can’t afford to buy into a 10k themselves. Otherwise, you would. Point made. Selling action is killing poker.

Don’t know who needs to hear this, but selling poker action doesn’t mean you’re broke or can’t afford the full entry. There’s just nooooo way I’m casually dropping $10,000 to play ONE poker tournament when I can sell action, play for an amount I’m comfortable with, and take some pressure off. It’s bankroll management, not a financial statement.

@Kevmath @WSOP May I suggest @WSOP start running satellites to the main starting 2nd or 3rd week in June? Something tells me you’d have more entries this year if that was the case. I know I would have fired some.

@Kevmath No, but when the @WSOP allows 2-3 entries in every 10k…it causes the main & other 10k tournaments to have lower registrations. I didn’t even play the 10k big O b/c players can fire 3 bullets. Since I play w/my own $$$ I didn’t want to fire 30k into 1 tourney. DO BETTER PLS.

Yep, all those other $10k tournaments out there that have 6,200 (and climbing) unique players have really cost the WSOP its shine
