An outstanding annual PERF meeting in Los Angeles — and an outstanding recap by Executive Director Chuck Wexler. Congratulations to PERF on the milestone! 🔗policeforum.org/trending18apr26

Another great day in Los Angeles marking 50 years of the Police Executive Research Forum. Proud to stand alongside colleagues, partners, and the men and women of the Los Angeles Police Department who continue to lead from the front. A special congratulations to John Miller on receiving the PERF Leadership Award. Well deserved! #CopsCountPoliceMatter

Great to be in Los Angeles for the 50th anniversary of the Police Executive Research Forum. For five decades, Chuck Wexler and the team at PERF have helped shape the evolution of modern policing — advancing leadership, innovation, and accountability across the profession. Happy to connect with friends and law enforcement leaders, and to spend time with the men and women of the Los Angeles Police Department. These moments are a reminder that while the challenges may change, the mission remains the same: protecting our communities and strengthening public trust. Fifty years of progress — and the work continues. #CopsCountPoliceMatter

I’m looking forward to attending PERF’s 50th Anniversary in Los Angeles. I am proud to have been a member for 48 of those 50 years, and was privileged to attend the second SMIP program in 1980, been a guest presenter at SMIP for over 20 years, and was honored to serve twice as its President with Chuck Wexler — who’s extraordinary leadership has moved the organization forward so successfully in good times and bad.  Chuck’s wonderful summary clearly shows why I am so proud of the organization and its unparalleled contributions to the police profession. 🔗 policeforum.org/trending11apr26

An insightful and informative remembrance of FBI Director Robert Mueller by PERF Executive Director Chuck Wexler. At this critical time we need more leaders like Bob Mueller to address the paucity of leadership that we now have at so many agencies.  🔗 policeforum.org/trending28mar26

A great summary of the history of PERF and many of its accomplishments and activities. I have been privileged during my career to have met and engaged with the majority of police leaders who Chuck Wexler mentioned in the article. I’m looking forward to attending the 50th anniversary meeting in Los Angeles.  ➡️policeforum.org/trending14mar26
