If Donald Trump is "fascist," can someone explain how the media was 90% hostile to him? Or show me any laws he passed that privileged white people over minorities? Or how he oversaw a government that imposed strict control over society? If Donald Trump is "authoritarian," can someone explain why he cut taxes and deregulated the government? Or why he would tolerate mass protests and hateful speech against him? Or why he would announce his intent to step down from office on January 7 after the 2020 election was certified? If Donald Trump attempted a "coup," why would he send in unarmed protesters to disrupt the Electoral College objections? Why would he call for 'peaceful and patriotic' protests? Why would he tell protesters in the early afternoon on January 6 to 'go home'? Why wouldn't he attempt to call up loyalist factions in the U.S. military? How in the world did he plan to capture and hold the U.S. government in the face of the strongest military in the world? If Donald Trump sought to forcibly "overturn an election," can someone show me the illegal actions he undertook? Is believing that an election is "stolen" now a crime? If so, where is the law? Or did he merely file legal election challenges and encourage Congress to return election slates on January 6, like a number of Democrats have done in the last twenty years? Any reasonable explanation for any of this? Or are we just supposed to blindly follow the media's absurd narratives without asking any serious questions?
