My 2026 predictions: Keir Starmer will either resign or be forced out. The full Epstein secrets will be leaked. Mass protests against AI will begin. The AI bubble will burst. There will be three hurricanes. JD Vance will split up with his wife. 1/many

@SkyNews He’s Peter mandelsons protege. That’s all you need to know as to whether he has good judgment. Sky news is far too flattering calling him working class! Sky news like the bbc have an agenda and serve their masters and rest assured they don’t have the public interest as priority

@LBC We elect a Government to rule for the people of the country, not investment bankers nor billionaires who don’t live in the uk. Anyone threatening the UK Government should be immediately sanctioned.

@blixberrie Yep, shouldn't have apologised to the Met police either, they should be facing a big investigation right about now: - why that fella was roaming despite reports - why they tased a 'potential bomber' - why Rowley breached 2 separate codes of conduct on political interferance

A leadership challenge *the day after* a kings speech makes a mockery of the system, & the monarch (I’m a republican, but I don’t think Streeting is!) Labour leadership hopefuls do appear to be this universally stupid, so it’s possible he’d torpedo his political brand like this.
Jon Craig@joncraig

I’m told govt whips believe: 1. Wes Streeting will make his move on Thursday, to avoid clashing with King’s Speech; 2. Andy Burnham doesn’t have MP ready to quit; 3. Besides 87 MPs who’ve publicly called for Sir Keir Starmer to go, same number privately want him to step down.

Diane Abbott seems to be the only Labour MP who gets the significance of #Senedd26. “This is not what happens. We’ve lost Wales. Wales is the heartland of the Labour movement. Nye Bevan… it’s extraordinary to lose Wales. Tony Blair didn’t lose Wales.”

Labour can try to rebrand all it wants, but the public won’t forget: No resignations over the genocide. No resignations over the Mandelson and Epstein affair. No resignations over the winter fuel payment withdrawal. No resignations over not reversing the two-child benefit cap. No resignations over expense scandals. But out of fear of losing their seats, resignations are flooding in.

@AlDefinitely Why everyone hates him: - he lies all the time, about literally everything - he keeps exploding other people's careers to save his own skin - 67% of the country didn't vote for him but he has a huge majority - he's inauthentic and directionless in a time of huge turmoil

After weeks of attacking Zack Polanski Our media are now going after Keir Starmer I don't agree with every Green policy but I do agree with quite a few And I don't like many of Keir Starmer's policy decisions either But the way Polanski and Starmer are being targeted by the media in this way is really disturbing The sad part is that Starmer jumped on the bandwagon to criticise the Polanksi and the Greens And what should be happening is Labour and the Greens finding things in common and working together on them We need less hysteria in politics and more co-operation from centre-left parties Because as long as the two fight, the far right will lap up the division and come sweeping in, even though when scrutinised so much of what they say falls apart

People wonder why we're here - this is why. Corbyn and Johnson together represented a plurality of the electorate. They had clear visions for the country and coherent coaltions. They just didn't appease the briefcases - and so were replaced with hated empty vessels for SW1.
