I had a wonderful time at @ASNAmNat Asilomar 2023. I gave my first talk at an international conference, explored the tidepools right outside the conference grounds and even helped the winning team at trivia night. A beautiful venue and I am excited to attend again in 2025!

Thesis defense time!

Life has just blown me away today. I started the day by becoming a master of biology and ended the day celebrating in Tokyo with some amazing people. I still have yet to process everything that has happened, but I am proud of myself and so incredibly hopeful for the future.
