The landing zone rule needs major reform. I understand injury prevention is important, and we need to prevent dirty close outs. But not enough is being done about the offensive players initiating the contact in such unnatural ways.

Nah man I won’t stop talking about it, what happened tonight is something I’ll guess maybe has never happened before The Pistons are not a jump shooting team. They live in the paint and drives to the basket. They had 50 PITP. 72% of their shot attempts were two’s. They finished with 12 free throw attempts. 12. Mitchell himself had 15. The Cavs had 34. While taking 41 3PA’s. What happened tonight with the officials performance was something that I’ve never witnessed before.

Again, I never do this but it’s puzzling Cavs went a quarter without committing a foul Pistons went inside. Shot 60 shots inside the arc. Only shot 12 FT Cavs lived on perimeter with 41 threes and by comparison got 34 FT #DetroitBasketball

The Detroit Pistons shot 60 attempts inside the arc and got 12 free throw attempts. The Cleveland Cavaliers shot 37 attempts inside the arc and got 34 free throw attempts. Donovan Mitchell had more FT’s than the entire Detroit Pistons team. The Cleveland Cavaliers went an entire quarter of NBA basketball without be called for a foul. I know the Detroit Pistons starters did not perform well at all in this game but the DRASTIC disparity of free throw attempts in favor of the jump shooting team over the slashing team is unbelievable.

This guy is using the left hand lane , which is open. There is a mile long backup and everyone is over in the right hand lane. He drives all the way up until he has to merge. Some people are saying what a jerk he is for not getting in line like everyone else, but a great many people are saying that the cars in the right lane merged into one lane too soon and that if they had used the left lane, instead of being a mile backup it would have been a half a mile backup. What’s your take? Do you think he was correct in using the left lane and merging up at the front or should he have merged right and got in line way in the back like everyone else?
