Is this the kind of leadership we want, misleading the public?
Undocumented immigrants may not qualify directly, but their U.S.-born children do, and those benefits (healthcare, food, assistance) are accessed through the household.
Another misleading claim: many already pay taxes using IRS-issued ITINs, they don’t need the DIGNITY Act to contribute.
So let’s be honest about what this bill actually does, and doesn’t do. It’s being sold as reform, but many see it as amnesty without real accountability or benefit to the American people.

Kat - they receive ZERO federal benefits or entitlements. None. No housing. No food stamps. No Social Security. And they must purchase their own health insurance so they are not a burden on hospitals or ERs. At the same time, they pay full taxes. They contribute to the system, without drawing from it. Paying in. Not taking out. And on top of that: $1,000 per year + 1% of income. This $$ goes straight to debt reduction and investing in the American workforce.

No. Her constituency is largely conservative Republicans.
The problem is many voters don’t know who she really is. She says one thing in Miami and does another in Washington. She votes one way in Congress, then goes on Spanish-language media and presents herself as a strong anti-communist.
In my opinion, there’s also a pattern among some influencers, especially many who arrived more recently, who present themselves as strongly anti-communist, but when it comes time to vote, they line up behind candidates like Maria Elvira Salazar.

@Polo4Congress Do the people of FL27 actually want amnesty? If not, you should run and educate them. If so, there is little point running because they are getting exactly the rep they want.
Being a spoiler to get a D in may also be useful in the long run. The Rs need a LOT of house cleaning.

In districts like FL-27, voters consistently elect someone from their own community. That’s how politics works.
So what’s your solution? Walk away from those seats?
By your logic, someone like Marco Rubio shouldn’t have a place either. That doesn’t make sense.
For the record, I’m not considering running this cycle. This isn’t about me running against anyone. It’s about how you realistically win and represent conservative values in districts like FL-27.

I appreciate the question—and the support. Fair to ask.
In 2024, I stepped aside after it became clear the primary was being manipulated to split my vote.
In 2022, I earned 19.2% with ~$5.5K, while Maria Elvira Salazar had millions behind her.
I was legally admitted, but I risked my life escaping communism—and never went back, even leaving family behind.
Running against that kind of machine without real financial support isn’t realistic.
By the way, I would never say I’m “honored and proud” to have the DNA of Che Guevara anywhere near me.

In all honesty, from recent experiences I’ve grown skeptical of foreign-born candidates running for legislative office. Looking ahead, even American-born candidates could become an issue — especially given the widespread abuse of America’s broken birthright citizenship laws.
That said, your track record and endorsements would ultimately be the deciding factor for me.

I warned @realDonaldTrump years ago about Maria Salazar’s direction on immigration.
The DIGNITY Act is being sold as reform—but it looks like legalization first, enforcement later.
At a time when Americans are struggling with housing costs, job competition, and economic uncertainty, this is the wrong priority.
In my opinion, Salazar represents anyone but those of us who truly love America.

This Miami-Dade judge restricted a litigant’s ability to file in court after the litigant filed a motion exposing against corruption in the Judicial system.
The appellate court later dismissed the challenge as “moot,” despite ongoing jurisdiction in the case.
When the system closes ranks, accountability disappears.
