@PolySphere3D RE: The POM technique had similar artifacts in many older games too. So what? That's some Acerola bs mentality. Plenty didn't look this terrible either. RE: from low POM step counts. No it doesn't, it comes from overly accumulative AA.

Saw a comment saying this was "beautiful". There are actually "devs" who ignore TAA smear like this and will say "beautiful" regardless. This is how toxic positivity is ruining basic visual graphics standard. If the graphics look like vomit, it's automatically unoptimized.

@chrisbardoux @fab Thank you! No photogrammetry was involved. I used Google Maps for reference and also gathered my own photos while visiting Paris. I added extra details by using AO/Curvature maps to generate subtle dirt directly in the Unreal material. (similar to what Epic did with City Sample)

This is one of my favorite things I have ever made. Done entirely in Unreal except for color, transitions, and some additional 2D camera shake (thanks to @MaxonVFX). I used a VERY shallow depth of field and rendered with path tracing, which makes it feel like toys that are real and tactile. @studiomadgoat's cinematic car rig made the car animations a million times easier than doing it all manually. @Black_Eye_Tech's camera made it possible to do the complex one shot. The NYC environment was built by @PolySphere3D.
