The recent publications on the safety of patients with IBD in drug trials are much welcome, great work from colleagues across the IBD world 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🇬🇧 🇺🇸 🇦🇺 🇨🇦 🇮🇹 🇫🇷 We are hugely indebted to patients participating in trials, yet they are exposed to excess harms by placebo treatments & prolonged steroid exposure. We MUST insist on better trial design!
