@utdrtakes It's hard for me to believe that Carol knows of our existence when only Kris, Ralsei, and the Knight are aware that we exist. The YOU is for emphasis on Kris, just like it was used to talk about Asgore in UT.

@utdrtakes Presumably it would have to be somone we know the face of, since Kris represses the idea of the knights true face in order for us to not know who it is, which wouldn’t really matter if it’s not someone we know anyway.

my big issues with dess knight as it stands now are that she doesnt stand for the games antagonistic themes
and the group chats entire conspiracy and motivations become kinda convulted if dess is just working with them

@Rox89716855 @fambramb Funnily enough both Carol and the Knights introductions are them menacingly coming from the right side of the screen and holding something important to Dess.
& imo Dess' disappearance being what drives Carol to lose herself is a slam dunk in terms of explaining stuff like that

@Rox89716855 @fambramb Dess doesn't have an explanation either, everything regarding the Knights form is pure speculatiom because we haven't seen a lightner DO that before.
Personally I think its shadow crystal armour, similar to how Spamton, who found a SC in mettatons body "fused" with a new body

i think every knight candidate has some obvious problems it's just that Dess, with her nature of being missing for like 8 years, has the most explanations for those problems that don't feel like a hand wavy "it doesn't matter" or "don't think that hard about it"

@fambramb I think dess knight is what the game is probably going with but the one hole in it I struggle with is that dess, the missing child of the mayor, was somehow able to leave the library in broad daylight without anyone noticing her. That's the one thing I'd like to see answered

I think it's just better because it's a bigger OST already. There is more songs to pick from, and they have more variety. Tho the DR OST doesn't have a "This changed my life" song... yet. Bangers? I mean yeah. But nothing that compares with Finale or SAVE the world imo.

my personal opinion on the desire is the desire to finish deltarune. which inherently, by even Engaging with it at all, you are showing a want to progress and complete it. it's a pretty universal desire and an abstract one that adds to the narrative of player angel very well.
