Polynad is a fully on-chain, smart-contract-based prediction market.
Each prediction market is its own deployed smart contract on Monad. When a market is created, the contract permanently stores:
•The asset being predicted
•The strike price
•The expiration time
•The POLYNAD pools for both sides (up and down)
When users place a bet, they are not submitting an off-chain wager, they are sending POLYNAD tokens directly into the market’s smart contract. The contract itself holds the funds, records every bet, and enforces the rules. No one, including the Polynad team, can move or touch those funds.
At expiration, the smart contract pulls a real on-chain price from a decentralized oracle (DEX TWAP or oracle feed). Based on that price, the contract automatically decides which side won. There is no human input, no backend server, and no centralized resolution.
Payouts are then calculated and distributed by the smart contract itself. Winners receive their share directly from the contract, and a protocol fee is taken and burned in POLYNAD, all on-chain and verifiable.
So Polynad is not:
•A custodial betting platform
•A backend-controlled game
•Or an off-chain prediction engine
It is:
A decentralized, non-custodial, smart-contract-driven prediction market where all funds, outcomes, and payouts are enforced by code on the Monad blockchain.
Anyone can independently verify:
•The bets
•The pools
•The oracle price
•The payouts
•The burn
That’s what makes Polynad real DeFi, not a Web2 betting app with crypto payments.
