84 years today since 21 Australian nurses marched "chins up" into the sea on a quiet Sumatran beach and were murdered by Imperial Japanese forces. The nurses had earlier refused to flee and leave their patients. Amongst the most gallant of our Greatest Generation. Lest we forget.

Stormzy and Spock are two of the worst injured dogs we’ve had.
They fully recovered and recently got adopted. With their families living close to each other they had a little meet up to compare notes.

Dolly Parton has had a good day. Her body is now clean of all the ticks and fleas.
She’s been getting some drips and medicines to build her up. Her little body is exhausted but you can see hope returning to her little eyes ❤️

There are some things you can't teach livestock guardian dogs, like babysitting baby goats, and that's okay, because they don’t get trained - they train themselves.
What a sight to see when the baby and momma see each other.

The famous opening clarinet glissando in George Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue (1924) originated as a humorous, improvised prank by clarinetist Ross Gorman during rehearsals. Instead of playing the written notes as a simple scale, Gorman "smeared" the notes, which Gershwin loved so much he immediately ordered it kept for the premiere.

Liberty County Animal Advocates were notified about some puppies being dumped at a local cemetery in Cleveland, Texas . They went out to investigate. They found them and their mom.
That momma was begging for help. The k you for saving them. They were starving. 💔

I just can’t get enough of this little one. She brings her seeds up to eat with a view.

Our squirrel friend has been sighted scurrying around by my kitchen window feeder. (Not a surprise, the birds drop a lot of seed.) I wonder how far her tunnels go? Sound on 🔊 for toddler chatter and toy banging in the background. 😊
