@eurofounder You didn’t have travel insurance? Are you insane. If I come to Germany without insurance then I presume I have to pay for health care, should the German taxpayer pick up the bill ?

My wife collapsed in our hotel room in New York today “Call an ambulance, I can’t breathe” she was screaming My heart dropped If she ends up in an American hospital we are financially ruined I went on the Lufthansa app to book a flight back to Frankfurt, but unfortunately pilots are on strike today “Please I’m begging you” she was lying on the floor I sighed and called 911 She is now in surgery as apparently her appendix “almost burst” I am extremely scared This is going to cost us at least $100,000 She could have received much better care, for free, in Germany I will never visit this barbaric country ever again

@clairlemon Scott Adams predicted this yrs ago. If you provide financial rewards for finding neo nazis there is a big incentive to find them and if they aren’t there then you create them.

The left still hasn’t forgiven Margaret Thatcher for “shutting the mines.” But today’s Greens are actively campaigning to shut down farming, mining, and energy sectors, industries that employ thousands of working-class Kiwis. Strange what counts as compassion now.

@kellyenz The diesel price has dropped 14% at the pump and Waitomo was at 3.19 this morning. Pretty excited at that and the AirNZ boss is super confident on supply

@PronouncedHare The media look stupid by keeping going. Hopefully Luxon now legislates as per his manifesto rather than appeasing the left wing press gallery

NEWS: Australia’s birth rate hits another record low 🚨 Fertility falls to ~1.48 in 2025 — **2nd straight record low since 1924** • Projected to drop further to ~1.42 • Far below the 2.1 replacement level Australia is now nowhere near replacement level. This is exactly the decline @elonmusk has been warning about for years.

You have to question the amount of money National throw at RNZ so they can work tirelessly to get them unelected.

Lisa Bloom, lawyer for the woman who accused Swalwell of drugging and raping her last week, says after two meetings with law enforcement, the woman still has to locate evidence in a storage unit, including the names of purported witnesses she talked to after the incident? Huh...?

@PouTepou Gets signed then ratified by parliament before it takes effect. Once again migrant Indians will undermine the wages and opportunities for poorer kiwis for nothing. We already sell everything we grow so what’s the point

So the Indian trade agreement how can it be signed off next week has a labour agreed to help get it over the line? Does it need Parliamentary support?

Superb news. Abrysvo is authorised in the UK and US for administration during pregnancy. It sharply cuts RSV hospitalisation among infants. Unfortunately, NZ has only authorised Arexvy. And a search of Medsafe's database for product applications shows no records on Abrysvo.
Kit Yates@Kit_Yates_Maths

Some good news. “A vaccine during pregnancy which protects newborns against nasty chest infections (RSV) is cutting hospital admissions of babies by more than 80%, UK health officials say.” bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

I will now don my political advisors hat and offer some free campaign advice to Christopher Luxon and National: 1. Start criticising the media for being biased. 2. Begin lightly criticising NZ First over their growing embrace of socialism. 3. Make the election a contest with Hipkins and Labour - criticise their dearth of policy, their wokeness and policy failures under Ardern, their desire to return to government control to manage the fuel crisis, and Hipkins personally over vaccine injuring young people. 4. Begin telling people about your policy wins a bit more - you actually have a few good ones in the bank.
