Slough Town Football Club can confirm that Wiktor Makowski has completed a permanent transfer to Worthing for an undisclosed fee. Whilst disappointed to see Wiktor leave the club, following conversations with him and his representatives in January we were aware that he had a desire to seek a new challenge in the summer upon the expiration of his contract. Therefore, the club felt it was in the best interests of all parties to explore opportunities for an earlier exit with a transfer fee. Katie Boulter 🇬🇧 loses out in a match of chances vs Kasintseva 🇦🇩 2-6,7-5,6-2 in the second round of qualifying in Indian Wells 🇺🇸. It’s a frustrating outcome for Katie as she was originally a set and a break up and had 3 chances at 4-4 in the second set to serve for it. In the third she was also a break up and had break back point at 4-2. Just a match she couldn’t fully pull away from unfortunately with the 20 year old coming up with some strong big moment tennis. Should get in with a LL spot after Lys withdrawal (90% sure)
