Meanwhile, @PooleCoastguard requested assistance from Kimmeridge Coastguard to navigate the Arne Heathland, once both Coastguard teams arrived on scene. Both casualties and boards were taken by the Coastguard 4x4 Trucks to the casualties emergency contact at the Arne carpark.

🆘CALL OUT🆘 #93 22/07/2021 18:43 📟 STRANDED PADDLEBOARDERS 📍 ARNE @PooleCoastguard Rescue Team were tasked @RSPBArne to locate two stranded paddleboarders, caught out with the tides, after paddling down the Wareham River,and unable to paddle back.

Job 91:17/7/21:1943Hrs;Person with injured leg on Long Groyne, Hengistbury Head.Once on scene 2 casualties were found.With @MudefordRNLI we assessed both casualties and determined a helicopter maybe the best way to extract them due to the nature and seriousness of their injuries

Poole Coastguard were involved with setting up several helicopter landing sites at various locations. While Southbourne Coastguard coordinated the casualty recovery & communications between all services. Teams stood down around 11pm

Meet Rosa, the retriever who needed retrieving! After swimming out to sea to take a closer look at the local seal population, RNLI lifeguards at Sea Palling came to the rescue. Returning to shore, they praised Rosa’s owner for staying calm and not entering the water.
