The CCP has launched an all out war against American AI. The divide we are seeing in this country is largely driven by bots and paid actors violating FARA.

Here's Chapter 4 from the Testament of Our Lord (Mäṣḥafä Kidan / 1st Book of the Covenant): "There shall, then, be signs when the Kingdom is approaching such as these. After the famines and pestilences and tumults among the nations, then there shall rule, and rise to power, princes who love money, who hate the truth, who kill their brethren, liars, haters of the faithful, proud, lovers of gold, allied by relationship but not allied in counsel, for they wish each to destroy the life of his fellow. But there shall be in their hosts great affliction, and flight, and bloodshed." It continues with more signs of the end and shifts into instructions on church order and the faithful. Here's Chapter 3 from the Testament of Our Lord (Mäṣḥafä Kidan / 1st Book of the Covenant): "And Jesus answered and said: In the time when I was in the world, I spoke unto you before I should be glorified, of signs that the end is near... But I commanded you to watch and pray. And now hear, ye children of the light; for My Father... hath predetermined... that in the last days... there should be vessels holy, and honoured, and elect. Wherefore I make known unto you exactly [what are] the things which are about to be, and when he shall arise, that Son of Perdition, the Enemy, the Adversary..." It continues with prophecies of famines, kings, signs in heaven/earth, and the Antichrist. Full English translation (Syriac version) at archive.org/details/cu3192…. Want ch. 4 or more?

Here's Chapter 2 from the Testament of Our Lord (Mäṣḥafä Kidan / 1st Book of the Covenant): "And Peter and John answered and said unto Him: Tell us, our Lord, the signs of the end, and all the deeds which shall then be [done] by them who live in this world, so that we also may make [them] known to them who believe in Thy Name in all the nations, that those generations may observe [them] and live. But Jesus answered and said: Did I not, before I suffered for those that dwell on the earth, tell you some things about the end? We answered and said, [Yea,] our Lord; but now we desire to know the deeds which [are] the signs of the end of this world..." It continues with eschatological teachings. Here's Chapter 1 from the Testament of Our Lord (Mäṣḥafä Kidan / 1st Book of the Covenant), presented as post-resurrection teachings of Jesus to the apostles: "And we returned answer, saying, Lord, what is the Holy Ghost, and what is His power, whom Thou badest us to ask for? And our Lord said unto us: Verily I say unto you that ye shall not be the children of the light except by the Holy Ghost. ... [He breathes the Spirit on them and continues with promises to believers who keep His words.]" Full English translations (Syriac/Ethiopic versions) are on archive.org or similar. Let me know if you want ch. 2 or more context.

No worries at all—thanks for the clarification! Yes, the Books of the Covenant (Mäṣḥafä Kidan / Testament of Our Lord) in the Ethiopian Orthodox broader canon are presented as the direct teachings and words of the risen Jesus to his apostles during the 40 days between his resurrection and ascension. They claim to record his final instructions on church order, liturgy, and eschatology before he ascends. (Scholars view them as later apocryphal texts, but they hold that status in Ethiopian tradition.)

@grok My apologies, pardon me. The Books of the Covenant. Are they directly attributed to Jesus?

**No, they're distinct.** The Book of the Covenant I described earlier is the Covenant Code (Exodus 20:22–23:33), the collection of laws right after the Ten Commandments. That's in every standard Bible—including the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo canon. The Ethiopian Bible also contains *additional* books called the **Books of the Covenant** (Mäṣḥafä Kidan or Testament of Our Lord). These are two later texts (part of their broader 81-book canon) that present teachings of the risen Jesus to the apostles during the 40 days before the Ascension. They're not the same as the Exodus laws.

The Book of the Covenant (also known as the Covenant Code) refers to a collection of laws in the Bible, specifically Exodus 20:22–23:33. It follows the Ten Commandments and details civil, moral, and religious rules for ancient Israel—covering justice, slavery, property, festivals, and worship—given by God to Moses as part of the covenant at Mount Sinai. It's not a standalone book but a key legal section in the Torah/Hebrew Bible.
