It takes longer to see a Neurologist in the US than it does to fly around the world 20 times.
1. A brand new study published in @GreenJournal just dropped a bombshell:
🔸The average wait for a new neurology visit in the US is 50 days.
🔸If your Primary Care Physician refers you; It is 61 days.

The Cost of Being “Strong”: Kiran Manral Speaks About Her Cancer Journey for the First Time
This week on Not Your Aunty, Kiran Manral opens a door she has kept closed for months. For the first time, she speaks about her cancer diagnosis, the moment that split her life into a quiet before and an irrevocable after. She traces the early shock, the disorientation of inhabiting a body that suddenly feels uncertain, and the long stretch of time where life continues on the surface even as something profound shifts underneath.
In a deeply emotional conversation with Shunali Khullar Shroff, she speaks of the subtle, relentless pressure to appear resilient, the performance of strength that leaves little room for fear or fragility, and the instinct to minimise her own pain so it does not weigh on others. She reflects on the people who stood by her with grace and steadiness, and those who disappeared completely when told about it. This is a story about what it takes to endure, and what it costs to make endurance look effortless. Above all, it is an unguarded, deeply human reckoning with a critical illness, friendship, love both expected and unexpected, and the reckoning every one diagnosed with cancer must journey through alone.
