they said AI would free you. instead it just raised the bar. workers using AI aren't doing less, they're doing more at faster pace but broader tasks, longer hours.... the tool made "more" feel possible so now "more" is the expectation. AI didn't replace your job. it just made your job never end

In an attempt to bring people back to the theaters, a cinema had a BYOB (bring your own bucket) day. They would fill your bucket with popcorn. 🍿 But is that much popcorn necessary, and is it worth dragging a bucket around? I'm not sold.
