This cold snap has us reminiscing about milder temps & learning outdoors. Grades 3&4 are often found learning outside and anxiously await warmer weather next week for more adventures.

The grade 2’s used design thinking process to develop magnetic toys for their toy fair. They were all business when giving their sales pitch. Most toys had a base set, and accessories to purchase after for more profit! #WeAreCBE @gcherkowski @STEMEduc @GelfandShelly

#STEMeducation Gr. 4s wanting to solve a mutual problem: So many supplies & tools without enough storage. Design a Custom Toolbox Maker Challenge was born. Students used design thinking process to innovate. A class visit to Ms. K’s room is always a joy! @GelfandShelly #WeAreCBE

Grade 4 class visit. Students were so engaged in a math ‘scoot’ they didn’t fret over it being a summative assessment. Assistive technology, anchor charts, visible learning intentions, differentiation & movement all built in. @GelfandShelly #WeAreCBE
