@Seong_456 @Cipher_twt Perhaps it’s been solved, but the army tried to build a large nuclear plant in Greenland and it didn’t work due to melting and shifting by ice. Antarctica might be more stable though

@Cipher_twt 1) Power: I guess you could build a small nuclear plant? 2) Internet: You need fiber optic cables and such which don't exist there and would cost a fortune to run. A data center isn't going run off Starlink.

If data centers require so much cooling, why don’t we build more of them in extremely cold places like Antarctica ??

@nogunjou @llllllll7889 @PredebutVTuber This argument gets dismantled the same way the moon landi by is fake is easily dismantled. Many allies and enemies of Japan during that time and today across the world attested to the brutality of Japan then, so it’s not out of the question it happened.

the only political philosophy is having a nuke
When you have morons spouting shit like this, no wonder why you have Chinese people who love joking about the atom bombs. I always speak out against Chinese netizens who joke about the atom bombs used on Japan, but if someone were to retort with this, I cannot blame them.

@Yussoonn_ Spain meanwhile can just import finished goods from neighbors, and since it doesn’t seem as domestic manufacturing focused, higher nominal incomes relative to other countries allows Spaniards to purchase more goods. Probably some caveats there

@Yussoonn_ South Korea acts towards a lower nominal ppp than Spain and Spain towards a higher nominal one. S Korea is export led and produces most home goods and necessities in house although that does mean higher relative materials cost but mostly means it can export more

This is another cope about Korea, and it reflects a very Western-centric, short-sighted way of thinking. Korea has already overtaken Spain in PPP. Boasting about such a figure to claim that Spain>Korea is like someone inheriting a house, looking at the monthly income of an over-indebted entrepreneur in an expansion phase, and concluding that he has "succeeded better." Spain operates within a EU framework that is already wealthy, stable, supported by tourism, European integration, transfers, and geopolitical stability. So yes atm Spain may slightly lead in nominal GDP but that does not prove that its model is superior, it only shows that an aggregate indicator can reward position more than effort. Many people are ignorant of the fact that Korea is still catching up and that the country has productivity reserves that Spain lacks in the long term, which means that Korea will surpass Spain in terms of nominal GDP.

Babak Taghvaee - The Crisis Watch
BREAKING: According to this satellite image taken by Landsat 8/9, it appears that, in addition to the KC-135R Stratotankers of the U.S. Air Force, at least one or two E-3G Sentry AWACS has also been destroyed in the ballistic missile strike carried out by the IRGC Aerospace Force at Prince Sultan Air Base, Saudi Arabia, on March 27, 2026. In fact, it appears that, the primary target of the IRGCASF was the E-3Gs of the USAF parked there, not the KC-135Rs. However, they also managed to destroy several KC-135Rs. What makes this even more personal for me is that I had previously met and photographed those E-3G Sentry AWACS aircraft weeks before start of this war for my book on Op. Epic Fury. #OperationEpicFury #OperationLionsRoar

@notcomplex_ There is plenty of innovation in science from Korea. The thing though is that nobels begets nobels. Once a country produces nobels, it starts rapidly producing more via network effect. For instance, Japan got into the science game late, but after their first Nobel stated racking

In Korea, test scores determine whether you go to the top colleges. Also in Korea, doctor is the highest paying and most prestigious stable job. So the vast majority of an entire country's best minds (over 75%) become doctors. So far Korea has won zero Nobel Prizes.

New US Federal Reserve report on China’s export boom: “Contrary to the common view that China would move up the value chain as it gradually exhausted its pool of low-cost labor, it has expanded into higher-value sectors without ceding market share in lower-value industries.”

China’s share of global exports is rising across almost every sector. The world is now absorbing an ever-larger share of Chinese production relative to its own income — a surge with big implications for trade and growth. (1/2) federalreserve.gov/econres/notes/…

@ns123abc The abysmal rate at which tsmc pays its engineers will always astonish me for how critical tsmc is to Taiwan. Yes Taiwan is half as expensive as the U.S., but even if pay isn’t twice the avg which it could be in the U.S., more disposable income means more returns in stocks.

@MarioNawfal If the Ukrainian striking the Russian gas port and previous collaboration between the Northstream bombings by Ukraine and the US are anything to go by along with the fact that it is surprising twist the US ordered Starlink to cut off Russia, I think Ukraine and the US made a deal

🇺🇸🇪🇺Trump basically just gave 450 million Europeans an ultimatum: sign the $750 billion trade deal by March 26 or lose favorable access to U.S. LNG. Qatar's Ras Laffan LNG (17% of global capacity) is offline for 3–5 years after Iranian drone strikes, Russia’s pipeline gas is cut, and Norway is maxed out, leaving America as Europe's only scalable supplier. With LNG prices up 35–50% since Hormuz closed, this isn't impulsive... it's the most calculated energy play in U.S. history, using the crisis to force a massive trade win. Source: @shanaka86 CNBC

🇮🇷🇪🇺 LNG ships that were supposed to go to Europe are suddenly turning around… and heading to Asia. At least 11 tankers have changed course this month. Why? Because supply is tightening fast after the Strait of Hormuz disruption and issues at Qatar’s biggest LNG facility. So buyers are chasing higher prices… and Asia is winning. Even U.S. shipments are being rerouted mid-journey. One ship literally left for Europe and then flipped to Asia halfway through. Why this matters: Europe is losing access to energy in real time. And when supply gets tight, the highest bidder wins… not the closest ally. In today’s market, energy flows to whoever is willing to pay the most, not who needs it most. Source: @MarineTraffic

@jjohn2514 @TicTocTick Well ig it would count for some small amount of gas needed to transport the gas rather than pipelines which probably costs less gas to transport gas acc for gas leaks than it’d be to truck gas to homes

I’m in Bangkok presently. Will confirm most residential are canisters. Not sure how the canister vs the pipe changes anything related to supply… You suggest that is it was piped it would be endless? Anyhow, LPG is still available but governments are rationing currently to hedge against the amount of time matters in the Middle East stretch on. They are not out of LPG… they are rationing.

Many of you in America don’t know that in most poor countries, cooking gas is not piped. It comes in cylinders. These are cylinders filled with LPG. My sources have told me the South Asian counties do not have any LPG left. Folks can’t cook food now.
