@MikeCosper I really appreciate your work with CT, Mike. Huge fan of the podcasts. Having said that, I do not think the petty Twitter spats are worthwhile or humble.

I always assume guys with silly beards like this and performative provocations are either unicyclists or carnival barkers, but how many carnival barkers can there really be? Anyone can learn to ride a unicycle. (Or so I'm told.)
Eric Conn@Eric_Conn

@MikeCosper Not very Christlike speech, Mike. But unicycles? Lol 😂

@Variety I am a moderate and I think it's amazing. Not "best of decade" but at least top 20 of decade.

"American Psycho" author Bret Easton Ellis says Hollywood loves #OneBattleAfterAnother because "it aligns with this kind of leftist sensibility." “It’s kind of shocking to see these kind of accolades for — I’m sorry, it’s not a very good movie — because of its political ideology, and it’s so obvious that’s what they’re responding to. Why it’s considered a masterpiece, the greatest film of the decade, the greatest film ever made [is] because it really aligns with this kind of leftist sensibility... [it will soon be] a kind of musty relic of the post-Kamala Harris era — that thing everyone gathers around and pretends is so fantastic and so great when it really isn’t, just to make a point… There’s a liberal mustiness to this movie that already feels very dated by October 2025. Very dated. And it just doesn’t read the room. You know, it reads a tiny corner of the room, but it does not read what is going on in America.” Read more here: variety.com/2025/film/news…

@PorterSprigg @NeonManta @Schaffrillas It's a warning: the powers that be will cull their lesser members to try to remain "pure" and efficient. So it's good when one falls, but there's another side to that coin you need to be aware of.

@NeonManta @Schaffrillas That's one half of why I wish he had just died when he got shot and we didn't have that last scene of him at all. Doesn't make sense why he would try to rejoin, but also awkwardly undermines the sincerity of the other ending scenes.

@Schaffrillas I just can’t believe that guy went back to them AFTER what they did to him. It’s like going back to a McDonalds that fired you by throwing a pan of fry oil at your face.

@conservmillen And many people have outsourced their critical thinking to you! Not necessarily your fault, but it's something to consider.

Some of y’all have completely outsourced your critical thinking to influencers and it shows. You’ve lost the ability to ask simple questions. You’ve shut your brain off and allowed yourself to be swept up by compelling narratives that don’t actually add up. And the rot is so deep that you reflexively assume anyone who does ask questions is being paid off, manipulated, etc. You’re not as smart as you think you are. Start there.

@TheFilmStage This movie is fantastic but not sure you can call a line from a film that's been out for 10 days "iconic."

The iconic “a few small beers” line from ‘One Battle After Another’ was not in early cuts of the film and was added after test screening responses. Read our conversation with editor Andy Jurgensen: thefilmstage.com/one-battle-aft…
