So excited to meet Murial Summers, former principal of AB Combs, the first Leader in Me school! She was so thrilled to see me once I mentioned our Hayley Sullivan! She was just lovely! #LIMSymposium

Congrats to six of our Principals; Sabra Wright, Paul Slovick, Deanna Leake, Christianne May, Lauren Nalepa and Brent Hall. They completed the Distinguished Leadership in Practice Program (DLP), a leadership development program for principals across NC. @PortersNeck @mesmariners

Today, we discussed the characteristics of effective public speaking. We practiced these skills with our partners and gave each other constructive feedback. We're excited to speak to community members about our garden next week on #leadershipday @TheLeaderinMe @PortersNeck

Today was AMAZING! Our third grade students, parents, and staff came together on a Saturday to build this amazing garden space for our kids! We are ready to take our learning outside the 4 walls of the classroom! Thank you @NHCSEmLeaders and @PortersNeck for the support!

Our school wide read aloud for February is Dream Street by Tricia Elam Walker. So we made our own dream street! I'm so proud of their creativity. @PortersNeck
