Climate investments work best when grounded in data and community voice. That’s why the Portland Clean Energy Community Benefits Fund (PCEF) partnered with Portland State University to conduct a comprehensive baseline assessment of urban regenerative agriculture in our city.

Portlanders—join us for a continuing conversation to inform the future development vision of Lower Albina as we move forward with the Reconnecting Albina Planning Project (RAPP). We'll be exploring new and updated concepts for how streets, buildings, open spaces, and connections could look, feel, and evolve to create a vibrant neighborhood that functions as a place for community life, culture, and connection. This workshop will build off of our Open House event held in December 2025. Learn what residents have said so far about the future of the district and let us know your thoughts on these important opportunities and issues facing Lower Albina. This event will include general information about the project as well as facilitated discussions on topics such as open space, connectivity, future development opportunities, community history and identity, and more. Visit the City’s website to learn more. Portland.gov/Reconnect-Albi… #Portland #ReconnectingAlbina #CommunityDevelopment

We all rely on the Earth’s natural resources to live. Through our everyday actions, we can help protect and restore our planet. Earth Day is a time to reflect on how we show up for our environment—and to find cleaner, more proactive ways to move through and live in Portland. After all, how we move shapes our planet. This year the City of Portland hosted a transportation themed Earth Day event, Earth In Motion. The event was a true reflection of what's possible when the city and community move together. More than 45 exhibitors filled Park Rose Middle School with resources, energy, and excitement, demonstrating how much momentum Portland has built toward a cleaner, more sustainable future. An “Electric Alley” showcased a remarkable lineup of electric vehicles, from EVs, electric heavy machinery, and e-bikes to e-scooters and more. Seeing the range of clean transportation options lined up together was a highlight of the afternoon, giving attendees a firsthand look at the future of mobility already available in Portland today. “Earth Day is every day. The work of building a more sustainable, resilient, and equitable Portland doesn't pause after April, and neither does the community that's driving it” said Vivian Satterfield, the City of Portland’s Chief Sustainability Officer. Discover more Earth Month events and learn about other sustainability efforts by visiting the City’s website. Portland.gov/Earth-Day #Portland #EarthDay #Climate #Sustainability
