Unless any pay award is both above inflation and fully funded, it’s hard to see any outcome other than strike action. The National Executive meet next week, and it's my view we have no alternative than to move to a formal ballot. An unfunded, below inflation pay award - when inflation is expected to hit 6% - will take our schools from crisis to collapse. This isn't a dress rehearsal. Independent research warns the US-UK drug pricing deal could cost the NHS up to £64bn by 2036, resulting in more avoidable patient deaths than COVID. That’s why I have signed a parliamentary motion opposing a statutory instrument (SI) that gives ministers the power to change ‘NICE’ thresholds. This SI would open the door to the NHS paying higher drug prices under the deal. The Government should pause and make space for proper scrutiny of these changes. Our NHS, and our lives, depend on it.

@NewXvg @1goodtern @sanofi Thanks. I visited the Sanofi & Nuvaxovid websites a few weeks back but US only. @sanofi please let us know where to obtain Novavax in the UK. Pharmacies only carrying Moderna right now. Last year it was Pfizer at Tesco.
