The fact he's in addition to Savinho aswell. An already ineffective front line & we want to add two players to it who are hardly bagsmen. Undoubtedly it's been a big Summer so far & the squad has been improved big time, but where will the goals come from? Even in the unlikely event we do sign Kroupi as the #9, it would be a big ask for him to score 20/25 goals in his debut season at 20 years old. And it's 90% likely we won't get Kroupi nevermind someone else of his level, I like Balogun but it's likely we end up with someone of his ilk & if it was a challenge to rely on Kroupi to score all the goals, imagine how bigger of a challenge it would be for a striker that's the tier below Kroupi to bag 20+ goals a season.

@hbrooks_coach The way I see it is we’re doing the right thing. Circa £9m up front on two academy lads this summer. Both in a likelihood won’t be good enough and that chunk of change facilitates producing more. If we’re luck we’ll get another Kane, but far more likely is that we buy another

Who are the realistic centre-forward options out there that would genuinely improve us? Apart from Junior Kroupi, who we've been linked with, who would cost upwards of £90 million I'm struggling to identify many attainable targets who are clearly better than what we already have.
