@PostDenarii @dwidoo7 TAO is not as decentralised as I thought it was. The whole Covenant AI drama with Jacob Steeves was a wake-up call for me.

Saturday morning thought: The more I use AI, the more I think investors are completely missing what World ($WLD, the former Worldcoin) is doing and why it will be needed by everyone in the near future. According to Pantera they may scale to at least $50 billion in free cash flow in the future. Fully diluted there will be max 10 billion tokens. WLD trades at $0.26 right now, down from almost $10 in 2024. Successful mature tech companies trade at over 25X FCF, meaning an implied future valuation of at least $125 (fully diluted!). That's a potential 500X from today's price in a few years, a bit like Bitcoin in the early days. I own a few WLD tokens (an insignificant amount), but I am not trying to shill it because I own some. I truly believe people are missing what's going on here. World has partnerships with among others Zoom and Tinder, but also with the governments of Taiwan and Malaysia. People seem to be worried about the irisscan (and maybe that's what's still holding it back?), but if you do a deeper dive you'll see it's a complete non-issue. The constant dilution certainly plays a role as well, but my price calculations are based on the issuance of all future tokens (they will be unlocked by 2032), so even with that you'll have this upside. Not financial advice of course, but I will closely follow the WLD price over the next months, and once I see a trend reversal I may get into the market. @0x_Kun I think that if you are paying attention to yourself and your life, what you are talking about becomes clear....every time you hit a certain external outcome the goalpost shift and your new wealth, job, status, toy etc becomes the new baseline

As life has a beginning and end - we first naturally focus on outcomes because it feels like there is a start and finish However once you realise that you would not trade your life for an outcome you can see that the in between is the goal - the path day to day How you can distinguish who is who is people who focus on outcomes accumulate and spend more on status goods People who focus on the journey spend more on accumulating life experience I didn’t say one is financially richer or not - both exist at every level so it’s not a judgment on financial success It’s something we need to all wrestle with in our own lives in regards to what’s actually valuable An this excercise will also open the door to people who have never really considered life in a frame other than success to mean wealth

@marcvanderchijs @dwidoo7 Was this in response to Bittensor’s new lock based subnet ownership? Do you think this is a move in the wrong direction?

It’s true, I’ve been posting a lot about $TAO lately. But that’s simply because, the more time I spend in the ecosystem, the more convinced I get that this is where the real opportunity is right now. You have 128 subnets, all fair launched PoW projects, competing to create actual value. Just open competition driven by incentives. I haven’t seen a structure like this before in crypto. And once you start digging into the individual subnets, you begin to understand why I keep coming back to it. For me, this is the place to be right now.

@j1mtoshi I think it is a naïve view to assume it is not true when there are mounds of evidence suggesting it is, and flawed to expect that the best possible technology we have must surely make its way to the market.

This is awesome. Will never not be. Simultaneously it's weird to still be devoting public money and time to making explosions in big cans like we did a century ago when the state has hidden tech which renders internal combustion irrelevant.

Starting to feel the best use case for crypto isn’t necessarily currency DeAi/AgenticAi is one of the first few real narrative aside from stable coins, crypto should build all the tools out so agents can have permissionless access to all necessary services A few big companies should not have full monopoly over Ai, alternatives are necessary

They may not be sure exactly how much you have but they can make educated guesses based on their data, the ledger, previous tax returns etc. This is what worries me RE the argument that BTC is safe from government Is there an obvious way around this for BTC specifically that I am missing?

Thought provoking article as always thank you! I do think that although governments cannot forcefully take your bitcoin if held in self custody, however due to bitcoin ledger being public if your address is linked to you, governments can impose pressure in various forms in order to force payment of unrealised gains on this asset.

A lot of this sentiment is going around and it puzzles me because we are so deep into a bear market that there just isn't a lot of latent energy to be squeezed out of these assets. Really not sure why people think there should be. I mean, most alt coins bottomed in June 2022, so when the FTX thing happened in Nov, a bunch of them didn't even make new lows. ...Because they had already been driven into the fucking ground prior.

I did not expect crypto to display such low volatility over the weekend events, especially when not that long ago crypto used to be the proxy market during weekends. Interesting.

I don't think the BTC sell pressure has been due to quantum fears. I think people are form fitting a bias confirmation onto price action and other people are agreeing with it.

giveaway time - $1000 to one person that writes the best thesis; what is the single best bet inside of crypto to express bullishness on mind-blowingly rapid AI + Robotics developments in the next 5 years? if you could put money into one basket to ride the AI trend through crypto, what would it be and why? if you think I cannot differentiate AI written theses from humans, fucking think again. AI will be disregarded. go.
