I am a person of faith. And I have never once read a passage that celebrates the destruction of a civilization or uses God’s name to taunt your enemies. There are millions of people across this country who are watching and reading the actions of this out-of-control president and feeling the same thing right now. Whatever your politics, whatever your faith, there is something being done in all of our names by this president that does not reflect the values of our nation, or for that matter, of any religion I have ever encountered. This is simply not who we are.

Trump and Hegseth are making statements that legal experts say constitute war crimes. On live television. Without apology. Hegseth told the world there would be "no quarter, no mercy" for Iranian forces. Trump threatened to "obliterate" Iran's civilian power grid. Legal scholars, retired military officers, and the Pentagon's own manuals are raising alarms. "No quarter" is not tough-guy rhetoric. It is a specific legal term meaning to kill the enemy even when they try to surrender. It has been prohibited under American military doctrine since Abraham Lincoln. It was then made illegal under international law and reinforced after World War II. The United States helped prosecute Nazi officers at Nuremberg specifically for denying quarter to enemy forces. The Pentagon's own Law of War Manual states without ambiguity that declaring "no quarter" is a war crime, whether or not it is carried out. Denial of quarter is also a federal crime under the 1996 War Crimes Act. Trump's threat to destroy Iran's civilian power grid sits in deeply troubling legal territory. International humanitarian law prohibits attacking infrastructure whose destruction would cause disproportionate harm to civilians. When Russia targeted Ukraine's power grid, the International Criminal Court opened investigations and issued arrest warrants. Leading international law scholars have all warned that Trump's threatened strikes would likely violate international humanitarian law. What makes the legal exposure harder to dismiss: Trump framed the threat explicitly as "retribution" rather than military necessity or a proportionate military objective. Retribution is not a recognized legal justification under the laws of war. These standards are written in the blood of wars that went unconstrained. They protect American soldiers as well, because a military that pledges no mercy invites no mercy in return. They protect American credibility, because a nation that lectures the world about human rights while its leaders broadcast potential war crimes on television has nothing left to say. Dwight Eisenhower, the man who liberated Europe and then watched us prosecute the war criminals we defeated, said it plainly: "We could make no more tragic mistake than merely to concentrate on military strength." He was right. Strength without law is not leadership. It is the very thing we once stood against. The world is watching. So is history.

Oil is selling for $114 on the open market but $4.50 at my local gas station I'm sensing a massive arbitrage opportunity here Who wants to help me buy the cheap oil at the gas station and resell it on the stock market for a $109.50 profit?

As i said tonight on the show, i am very worried about the amount of supply stemming from SpaceX, OpenAI and Anthropic. They really need to be spaced out and we will need no lock-ups so SpaceX won't open at $3 trillion

Trump doesn’t seem to know if we’re winding down or escalating the war in Iran. Several weeks in, he still can’t clearly define the objective and Congress still hasn’t voted. If there’s no coherent strategy and no end game, why are Americans still risking their lives?

@MikeLevin He’s fighting a real battle with a terrorist run nation with half a U.S. government. I think he’s entitled to rant.

Can you imagine if Obama had posted a psychotic rant at 8am on Easter Sunday? Republicans would have opened emergency impeachment hearings before noon. When Trump does it, silence. The hypocrisy is staggering. And no one pays a bigger price for that silence than the service members whose lives Trump is risking with his unauthorized war in Iran.

By endorsing Steve Hilton, Trump is telling Californians exactly what a Hilton governorship would look like: higher costs, a wrecked economy, and a Sacramento that does Trump's bidding, opens the door to ICE, and attacks our communities instead of defending them. I'm running to do the opposite, to lower costs, invest in California's future, and stand up to Washington when it comes after us. The choice could not be more clear.

🚨 Pres. Trump endorses Steve Hilton over Riverside Co Sheriff Chad Bianco in CA’s Governors race. The conventional wisdom among strategists has been that a Trump endorsement would make it harder for both Hilton & Bianco make the top 2, which would have guaranteed a GOP Gov.

@RealJGBanks The problem with price-earnings as a metric is it isn’t adjusted for money supply. I’ve created a money supply adjusted ratio and we’re sitting in good shape, not expensive.

BREAKING: The Shiller CAPE just hit 40x. Higher than 1929. Higher than 2007. Only one period in history was more expensive: The dot-com bubble. And that ended with the S&P 500 $SPY getting cut in half.

Our friend bought a car for $95,000: Financed it at 4.9% for 72 months & total payment is $1,150/mo. Instead of paying cash, they invested in a fund that pays ~16% interest. They will use interest from the fund to cover the ~$14,000/yr payment. ...Would you do the same!?
