The @GOP is so weak that it couldn't even override an unelected parliamentarian. This goes all the way to Trump. The GOP has essentially lost me. They appear to be controlled opposition and I will not support these kind of people. They are equivalent to the Democrat party of 30 years ago. They have tricked us into "voting for the lesser of two evils". There's only one thing they got right with that saying, they are also evil. If they lose the midterms they will deserve it.

This is Elizabeth MacDonough. She is the Senate parliamentarian appointed during the Obama admin, and oversaw both Trump impeachments She is responsible for removing Silencers and SBRs from the BBB. If we lose them, it’s her fault. Republicans, this must be overruled. @JDVance
🚨PSA TO REPUBLICANS🚨 Gun owners are watching closely. 📈 If you fire or overrule the Parliamentarian to gut the NFA, you will win massive support in the midterms. 📉 If you fail to protect our rights, gun owners will remember in the primary or just stay home.
@GunOwners @GOP That’s neat. @johnthune I assume you will allow the same for the SHORT Act and Hearing Protection Act? Put them back in their entirety. The registration process is moot without the tax. So if you reduce the tax to $0 why are they still in the NFA? Control? Fix it.
GOOD NEWS: after the rogue parliamentarian struck my amendment to ban taxpayer funding for transgender treatments, Republican Senators put it BACK in the bill anyway. This means they are daring the Democrats to vote against it in a “point of order.” It’s a good bet to take. For one thing, nothing to lose so why not try? But second, I believe the Democrats won’t want to pick this battle. This is a very very popular provision. I think the Democrats know they’ve lost the battle. The science isn’t on their side and neither is the public.
The NFA is a TAX. We must seize this rare opportunity to restore our Second Amendment rights. I’m fighting to get this right.
