Sir, it is hard for me to understand the hate. My late husband was in charge of the evacuation of the ExxonMobil employees in the housing compound where we lived in Doha Qatar. As his wife I had to attend all of the simulations with him. During one of these simulations, I had to lead others to the helicopter that was to evacuate us out of Doha. Our daughter was 2 years old, and I had to run with her to a helicopter waiting for us. It was only a simulation, but I was afraid. When that serviceman reached his hand out to me and said, “ma’am take my hand” suddenly l knew we were safe. People don’t understand how important these brave men and women of our military are and how they protect us everyday!
