@justinboldaji I remember I actually made Bacardi mojitos that night, that’s how big of a Heat & Collateral head I was (and remain). MV grew on me over the years. It was in a slightly different language than the others, Mann was ahead of us on the trail with that one but we caught up 😎

@DanielGorman20 They've already erased the outside world. Not a frame of that trailer looks like it was shot outdoors. Same deal with Moana, a film largely set outside.

Disney really laying the groundwork here, priming audiences with simulacrums of moving images. Barely a hop from here to erasing humans entirely

@DanielGorman20 What do you think, is Disney’s ultimate aim to abandon theaters entirely? They’ve basically done it already with Star Wars, the most cinematic IP they have. On the basis of what these movies are formally they probably prefer to make it rentable AI sprites that live in our phones
